The logo looks good on Richard Lane’s Maserati Ghibli and on the sleek sides of Bonnie, the world’s fastest Alfa Romeo, (232 mph at Bonneville). It also looks just right on the jacket of the late Phil Hill. Okay, we cheated on this one, but the others are real. And yes, those are Jim Hall and Alain de Cadenet with Hill. Taken by me in the role of sneaky paparazzi at Laguna Seca.
The logo looks like it belongs on Steve Smith’s 1959 Sprint Coupe … and it does. Steve is a SNO co-founder.
The next time you strap yourself into your airliner, as Pekka Rossi does, be sure to make sure your SNO logo is plainly visible, fully functional, and in view of both pilots.
