Lee Hayes explains that the plan is to replace the Alfa engine with a 3 cyl Suzuki Swift (Geo) engine as a base, that he can turbocharge. He says, “We have a turbo multiplication here of 1.7, so to stay under 2.0 litres in class, I can use a maximum of 1176cc.” Any purists looking in must feel pureed about now.
